પિન સ્ટોરી
* આજે સવારે મારા લેપટોપના ચાર્જરની યુનિવર્સલ પિન ઘરે ભૂલી ગયો. ઓફિસ આવીને જોયું તો લેપટોપમાં ૧.૫ કલાક ચાલે એટલી બેટ્રી બાકી હતી. મને એમ કે કોઇની પાસે મળી જશે – પણ થયું એવું કે અમારા CEO પણ તે ઘરે ભૂલી ગયેલા. સપોર્ટ સ્ટાફ પાસે નીચેની દુકાનમાંથી પિન મંગાવી. ન ચાલી. બીજી વખત બદલાવા માટે મોકલ્યો – પણ તે પણ ન ચાલ્યું. પછી, હું નજીકના રીલાયન્સ ફ્રેશમાં ગયો. કિંમત દેખી ૨૫ રૂપિયા. સરસ. કાઉન્ટર પર જઇ બિલ કરાવ્યું તો આવ્યું ૩૬ રૂપિયા! ઓહ. મેં જોયું તો એ જ પિન પણ તારીખ અલગ અને કિંમત પણ અલગ! ભારે કરી મુકેશ ભાઇ તમે તો!
છેવટે એક અમુલ મસ્તી છાશ અને પિન લઇ ઓફિસે આવ્યો અને લેપટોપ ચાલુ કર્યું..
ફોટો તો pointer to pointer to pointer જેવો દેખાય છે !!
હું સિડની ગયેલો તો અહીંયાથી લઈ જવાનું ભૂલી ગયેલો … ત્યાં જઈને $૬.૯૫ ખર્ચીને લેવું પડેલું … એ સમયે ૧AU$ = ૩૬INR હતાં .. !! બૌ મોંઘું પડેલી એક પીન… !!

ડોલરિયા દેશોની વાત જ ના કરો કુણાલ. ખાવા પીવા સિવાય જ્યાં નજર નાંખો ભાવ દેખીને હાય નીકળી જાય

seriously krunalbhai .. horribly costly … i mean .. 5kms dur na sub-urban station par java peak-hours ma $3.20 !!! .. i used to go to office after they used to end by 10 !!

I catch a train everyday to go to my work place here in SG. It cost me around 2 S$. If I travel by car instead of train then it would be a cheaper for me coz here even a high octane petrol cost just 1.6 S$ and it won’t take more than liter petrol for me for to n fro to office. But at the same time cars are quiet costly to buy and maintain here. Singapore is developed nation but living standard of the people is not high here. Anyways, pros n cons will be there for each country. But for your knowledge Singapore n Hong kong are the costliest countries in SEA.
Kunal, I think kartik will get angry on us. Together we hijacked whole idea behind kartik’s post.

ઓહ ઓકે… વેલ ભારતમાં તો બાઈક હોય તો પૂરતું છે…
પણ ટોપિક હાઈજેક કરવાની વાત સાચી હં…
મુકેશભાઈની રિલાયન્સ ડીજીટલ બ્રાન્ડ ખરેખર સારી છે… અને હવે તો ટાટાની ક્રોમા પણ સારી વેરાઈટી અને ભાવ (પોષાયેબલ) આપે છે… ગુજરાતમાં ટાટા ક્રોમા આવ્યું કે નહી તે ખબર નથી..

oh .. barabar … here @ Hyd one of them is just on the road back side of my place, and I found stuff quite cheaper there… but my personal cost-cut didn’t allow me to go ahead and buy anything…
