એક વિન્ડોઝ XPની આત્મકથા..
* એમ તો મારો જન્મ ઘણા વર્ષો પહેલાં થયો હતો,પરંતુ મારી ઘણી કોપીઓ બન્યા પછી પણ, મારી આત્મા તરફડવા માંડી હતી. મારી એક નકલ વહેતી વહેતી અમદાવાદમાં કોઇક રીટેલરને ત્યાં લાવવામાં આવી હતી. કાર્તિકે તેના એક સંબંધી માટે મને ઘણાં પ્રેમથી ખરીદી.
નીચે જુઓને, કાર્તિક કેવા ગર્વથી વિન્ડોઝ હાથમાં પકડીને બતાવે છે..
થોડો સમય તો મેં એકદમ યોગ્ય કામ કર્યું. મસ્ત પરફોર્મન્સ પણ આપ્યું. પરંતુ, ત્યારબાદ મારા મૂળમાં રહેલાં પ્રોગ્રામોએ રંગ બતાવવાનો ચાલુ કર્યો. મને ખબર જ છે કે મને કેવા-કેવા પ્રોગ્રામરોએ કેવી રીતે બનાવી છે. મારા અન્નદાતા માઇક્રોસોફ્ટે ક્યાં-ક્યાંથી ખીચડી કંપનીઓને ખરીદીને મારા જનીનોનું સંકરણ કર્યું છે – એ વેદના મારા સિવાય કોણ જાણી શકે?
હા, થોડા સમયથી તો મને નવાં-નવાં હાર્ડવેર જોડે પણ વેર થવા માંડ્યું.. અને પેલી મારી સોતન – વિસ્ટા, જુઓને મારું શું થશે? હા, પણ વિસ્ટાને પણ લાગનું મળ્યું છે – તેની બીજી સોતન, વિન્ડોઝ ૭, જેનું નામ હજી બરોબર જાહેર નથી થયું, તેની ચર્ચા છડે ચોક થાય છે. જેવાને તેવા મળ્યા ને…
પરંતુ, જુઓ તો ખરા, મારી દશા કેવી થઇ!! લિનક્સ વાળા લોકો તેને ‘Blue Screen of Death‘ (મોતનો ભૂરો રંગ) કહે છે.
મારી દયા ખાવ, પણ લિનક્સ વાળા એવું કહે છે – દયાની માને ડાકણ ખાય. વપરાશકર્તાઓ તેમનું ભલુ કરે..

એમાં એવું છે કે, આ માત્ર વાર્તા છે – અને અલગ અલગ સ્થળોથી સંદર્ભ લેવામાં આવ્યો છે. અને છતાં, આ વાર્તા સાચી વાર્તા છે!!

A day back, I have Sms a same problem to you..yaar..I have Xp pack 2, 1 GB DDR2(of Dynet)..I am facing this problem again and again..what is the reason..and cure for same? I have changed my RAM twice, but did not make any change in the situation..but I have tried one thing..opened CPU body, tried to bring down the temperature from 48 C to 42 C.., I had increased my virtual memory to 10GB for all drives and I was partially able to keep the BSD error for a while……but not permanently….so dear you suggest what to do?I am thinking of 2GB RAM from scandisk ..
