* ખર્ચાનો હિસાબ-કિતાબ રાખવો અત્યંત અઘરો છે, પણ હાજર છે – બે સરળ ઉપાયો
સ્વરૂપ નામનાં બેંગ્લુરૂનાં એક સોફ્ટવેર એન્જિનિયર (અને સાહસિક, Byte of Python અને Byte of Vim જેવા પુસ્તકોનાં લેખક..) અને બીજા લોકોએ બનાવેલ આ સાધન તમારા ખર્ચા કે આવકની તરત નોંધ રાખશે. જ્યાં પણ પૈસા વાપરો તે નોંધ આ પેન ડ્રાઇવ જેટલાં સાધનમાં નાંખી દેવાની. ઘરે જઇને કોમ્પ્યુટર સાથે જોડી દેતા બધી માહિતી આપમેળે કોમ્પ્યુટરમાં આવી જશે (એટલે કે sync થઇ જશે). આ સાધન હજી પ્રાયોગિક ધોરણ પર છે. છતાં, તેનાં ફીચર્સ જોતા માર્કેટમાં તહલકો મચાવી દે તેવું છે..
૨. પેમ (Personal Expense Manager)
સ્વરૂપની જેમ બીજા એક મિત્ર પ્રસાદ પંડિતે સોફ્ટવેર પર હાથ અજમાવ્યો અને બનાવ્યું કમાન્ડ-લાઇન સોફ્ટવેર. PEM વડે લિનક્સ અને મેક (વિન્ડોઝ પર પણ ચાલે છે) પર તમે ગીક લોકોને પોતાનાં ખર્ચા-પાણીનો હિસાબ રાખતાં કરી શકો છો. સોફ્ટવેર હજી શરૂઆત છે. જો તમને પર્લ (perl) આવડતું હોય તો તમે તેમાં સુધારો-વધારો કરતાં માટેનાં વિચારો મોકલી શકો છો. નોંધ રાખો કે આ ટૅલી નથી એટલે તેવી રીતે સરખામણી કરતાં નહીં!
And, Android Market has “Cashlog” [1]. I have installed it when it was newly available in market, then after two, three tried i never used. It’s very annoying to enter small value every time. I don’t think so in this CC “યુગ” some body has to carry one more key-chain to log expenses. It’s better to track total money in wallet. I think mobile is enough. Now, price really matters. The only concept in which we can think is that site. But again that is something like CC Statement.

I am waiting for “Money Manager Ex” (http://www.codelathe.com/mmex) to come on “Tonido” (http://www.tonido.com) so that I can access the accounts on my home computer (privacy) on mobile (mobility) using a web site (stadards). I am waiting to do my custom gujarati apps for Tonido too.

Another and simpler idea to log expenses on the move – use a separate twitter account, with updates not visible publicly! By that way you shall have timestamp of expense also, if entered immediatelly after paying!

Tonido Plug is coming next in the market. Not sure if it will be available in india or not. But once you plug your external hard drive to your broadband router you can access it from all over the world. What an Idea! (www.tonidoplug.com)
Another look-a-like plug is PogoPlug (www.pogoplug.com) unfortunately they don\’t ship to india or here in UK.
