કવિન અને શાળાનો પ્રથમ દિવસ
* કવિનનો આજે શાળામાં પ્રથમ દિવસ હતો. લિટલ જીનિયસ નામની એક બંગલામાં ચાલતી શાળા (એટલે કે સ્કૂલમાં) તેને મૂકવામાં આવ્યો છે. સ્કૂલ ઠીક-ઠીક છે, કંઈ વધારે પડતી હાઈપ વાળી નથી. ઘરથી નજીક છે અને મને પોસાય તેવી ફી છે. કવિનને લઈ જઈને પહેલાં ફોર્મ-ફી વગેરે ભર્યા. સ્કૂલના સંચાલક જોડે થોડી વાત-ચીત કરી, તે દરમિયાન કવિન રમવામાં મશગૂલ થઈ ગયો. હું થોડી વાર પછી ઘરે આવ્યો અને એકાદ કલાક પછી કવિનને ખેંચીને ઘરે લાવવો પડ્યો. એને એમ કે સ્કૂલ એટલે બહાર પડેલા હિંચકામાં રમ્યા કરવાનું! આશા રાખીએ છીએ કે કવિન તેના ટીચર્સને ભારે ના પડે અને સરખી રીતે ભણવાનું-રમવાનું-શીખવાનું ચાલુ કરે 
અને, હા. કવિનની સ્કૂલ અંગ્રેજી મિડિયમમાં છે. જોઈએ છીએ, કેટલી પોઅમ અમારે શીખવી પડે છે..

કવિનને અભિનંદન.
મોટાભાગના “પપ્પા” બે પ્રસંગોએ બહુ ચિંતાતુર હોય છે. એક તો શાળામાં બાળકનો પહેલો દિવસ હોય ત્યારે. અને બીજો પ્રસંગ બોર્ડની પરિક્ષા હોય ત્યારે.

દુખની વાત છે, પણ શું થાય સમય સાથે તાલ તો મીલાવવો જ પડે.

Congrats to you for the second tier of parenthood.
It is not the first day of school for Kavin but for you and Kokiji too! lol
And Yash, as per me, medium is not at all important or hurdle too, as far as it helps you to understand what you are learning and not repeating like parrot.
Even if child studies in English medium, parent can keep them abreast with our culture and reading material to follow proper.Also, it is practical to study in English medium to follow latest science and technology (for is more applicable for general student, specially gifted one do not face any hurdle though)
Plus, this is my personal opinion and all have right to disagree with me
