રીક્ષાભાડું..
* જો તમે મુંબઈ-દિલ્હીમાં હોવ અને સાથે જીપીઆરએસ વાળો (કે પછી ૩જી) મોબાઈલ હોય (અને તમને ફોર્મ્યુલા યાદ રાખવી ગમતી ન હોય) તો – રીકફેર.કોમ પર તમે તરત થયેલ મીટર જોઈને ભાડું જાણી શકો છો. આપણા અમદાવાદ માટે,
((મીટર-૨૪)/૪)*૧.૨+૯
જેવી અઘરી ફોર્મ્યુલા યાદ રાખવી પડશે. આ ફોર્મ્યુલા માટે પદ્માનો આભાર. જો કોઈ સુધારો-વધારો હોય તો જણાવવા વિનંતી.
આ સિવાય જીપીએસનો ઉપયોગ કરી મોબાઈલ વડે – થયેલ મીટર ખરેખર સાચું છે કે નહી તે જાણી શકાય તેવી એપ્લિકેશન બનાવવાનો વિચાર છે – પણ વાર લાગશે. એ માટે સારો મોબાઈલ સ્વાભાવિક રીતે અત્યારે બજેટમાં નથી. જો કે ટાટુનું જીપીએસ સારું એવું ચાલે છે – પણ ફોન (વર્ષો) જુની એન્ડ્રોઈડ ૧.૬ ઓપરેટિંગ સિસ્ટમ ધરાવે છે અને અપગ્રેડ શક્ય દેખાતું નથી.

All you need is a simple text box and a button. Enter meter reading in textbox and hit the button, apply formula and display the fare. YOu dont need nothing fancy!

હું મારા BlackBerry પર જીપીએસ ની એક એપ્લીકેશન વાપરુ છું. નામ છે GPSed. આ એપ્લીકેશન થી તમને કાપેલુ અંતર ખબર પડી જશે. તેના પરથી ફોર્મ્યુલા બનાવીને fare જાણી શકાય.

નવા ચાર્ટ માં ભાડું વધ્યું છે પણ ફોર્મુલા સરળ બની ગઈ છે. રીડીંગ ને દસે ભાગી ને રાઉન્ડ અપ કરો અને ચાર વડે ગુણી દો. જવાબ માં બે રૂપિયા થી વધારે ભૂલ નહીં હોય.
દાખલા તરીકે રીડીંગ ૧૪૭ છે. દસે ભાગી ને રાઉન્ડ અપ કરતાં ૧૫ આવશે. ચાર વડે ગુણતાં ૬૦ આવશે. ચાર્ટ પ્રમાણે ૫૮ છે.
