* એક દુ:ખદ સમાચાર: નવો ફોન લીધો. એટલે કે લેવો પડ્યો. Samsung Galaxy R (ફ્લિપકાર્ટ પરથી). પેલો જૂનો ફોન પડ્યો બંધ. નવો ફોન સરસ છે 
પ્રસંગોનુસાર ફોન-બેબીનો ફોટો:
ગુજરાતી દેખાય છે, પણ ફોન્ટ રેન્ડરિંગ બરોબર નથી. લાગે છે કે એન્ડ્રોઈડ શીખવું પડશે.
* ઠંડી જબરી લાગે છે. થર્મલ વેર વગેરેની ખરીદી કરવી પડી છે.
* એક બોધપાઠ: સેલ આવે ત્યાં સુધી રાહ જોવી

અને હા, મારા વિચારો, મારી ભાષામાં ! બ્લૉગ અને તેની કોમેન્ટ્સને (ટીપ્પણીઓ) મારા પહેલાના, હાલના કે પછીના એમ્પ્લૉયર (ગુજરાતીમાં કહીઓ તે શેઠ-સાહેબો ;)) સાથે કોઈ પણ પ્રકારે સંબંધ નથી. પોસ્ટ્સના બધા વિચારો મારા પોતાના જ છે અને બધી કોમેન્ટ્સ (ટિપ્પણીઓ) જે તે વ્યક્તિઓની છે. લાઇક્સ પણ એમનાં જ છે, જે સ્વાભાવિક છે.

Samsung Galaxy S2 માં ગુજરાતી ભાષાના સરળ ઉપયોગ માટે કોઈ પ્રબંધ નથી. એટલે કે ગુજરાતી ભાષા માટેના એન્ડોએદ ફોન્ટ માર્કેટમાં હાજર નથી.
હા…. પણ એક સુંદર વિકલ્પ છે… જે હું હાલમાં મારા દ્વારા ઉપયોગ થાય છે. આ રીતમાં તમે ગુજરાતી વાંચી શકશો પણ લખી નહિ શકો.
તમને તમારા ફોન માં Opera Browser ઉમેરો. એન્દ્રોએદ માર્કેટમાં તે વિના મુલ્યે મળી રહે છે. આ બ્રાઉસરના ઉપયોગ થી ગુજરાતી શબ્દોનું ઈમેજ સ્વરૂપે એનકોડ થઇ ને ડિસપ્લે થાય છે.
કોમ્પ્યુટર તેમજ મોબઈલને લગતી વધુ સહાય માટે…. આ ગમે ત્યારે મારો ફેસબુક પર સંપર્ક કરી શકો છો.

Galaxy R માં ગુજરાતી ફોન્ટ છે. પણ, મુખ્ય મુશ્કેલી રેન્ડરિંગની છે. એટલે કે જોડાક્ષરો બરોબર દેખાતા નથી વગેરે. હા, માર્કેટમાં કોઈ ગુજરાતી ફોન્ટ પ્રાપ્ત નથી..

gujarati is really a big issue in android europe and us and well, in this way apple is better, is it just a browsing? i thought android in india will have proper indian fonts..

I mean to say that android comes with pre loaded European language here in UK, so it must have all Indian languages in India but its not 100% which you have just confirmed.
Thousands of people like me in UK US can’t read favourite Gujarati blogs like yours.

Why Galaxy R n not SII? Price consideration?
Gujarati text rendering with iPhone also have some issues. I mean iPhone doesn’t display the gujarati with perfection but not like Android which only shows boxes. I’m still not done with purchase of iPhone 4S or HTC Sensation but most likely will do so next week.
I tried to play around with Anroid on HTC WildfireS two days back for this rendering problem but had no success. Poor Moi!!

Price, yes
S II has main two advantages: screen and camera. I don’t care much about this thing. Processing power is almost same (slight lower in R).
I can read Gujarati in Galaxy R as I said. iPhone has much better rendering starting from some 4.x.x updates.
